Anger management involves steadily increasing the level of maturity a child has with regard to both managing their emotions and being skillful enough to negotiate and collaborate with others in order to get to a win-win situation where both parties feel satisfied enough with the outcome. This manual offers a structured programme to achieve this. Being able to choose an assertive behaviour option allows children to feel good about themselves and find reasonable ways to deal with difficult people and difficult situations. It also means they are more likely to be calmer and more open to reason than stressed and tense. And it will enable them to form deeper, more satisfying friendships because they are able to be more honest with themselves and other people. There are 10 one-hour session plans: 1) Introducing assertive behaviour – Looks at passive, aggressive and assertive behaviours. 2) What do you think you have the right to do, think and feel? – Considers rules of behaviour and personal rights. 3) Behaviour options – Learn about body language 4) More behaviour options – Practise acting assertively in response to peer pressure. 5) What do I want and how can I get it? – Teaches the best ways to ask for what you want. 6) How to ask for what I want – Practise asking for what we want. 7) How to say “No!” – Learn ways of saying “No!” 8) Practice makes perfect – Acquire the confidence to say “No!” 9) Kindly speak up – Learn how to express feelings especially anger. 10) How assertive are you now? – Assessment. We deliver to Northern Ireland, ROI, UK Mainland, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight. Deliveries to other locations can be arranged by calling our office on 028 7134 6767.

Larger items, such as furniture and bespoke items can take up to 28 Days for delivery. Stock items are usually delivered within 2-3 Days. Deliveries are carried out by a national courier, and require a signature.

All products requested will be delivered by Creative Activity free unless the order is under £100/ €150 +VAT in which case a service charge of £7.95/ €12.94 +VAT will apply for orders to Northern Ireland and Ireland. Carriage to UK Mainland and other areas will be quoted at time of order.
